Give your needle a metal pushing surface during hand sewing. Cressida is a gold-tone adjustable thimble with a rounded dimpled shield and an open back. The split bands wrap around the finger while leaving part of the fingertip uncovered, and the small recessed dimples provide places to rest the back of a needle as you guide it through fabric. One gold-tone thimble is included; needles, thread and fabric are not.
